Yes, it is a big thing for all the serious Japanese language learners. JLPT evaluates your ability to understand and the knowledge-level of the Japanese language. Its worldwide presence has made it the most competitive and popular test for Japanese language students. Therefore, passing JLPT definitely calls for a celebration.
Getting to the point, I cleared JLPT N2 ^-^
I took the test on 7th December, 2014. The test was pretty difficult, especially the 聴解(listening),but somehow my weekend classes and preparations paid off.
From now on, I am planning to be as much regular as possible on sakuramani.
