Japanese Language Proficiency Test or 日本語能力試験 certifies the Japanese language aptitude of a non-native Japanese speaker. It is popularly know as the JLPT and held twice a year, worldwide. It has five levels starting from N5 for beginners till N1 for the advanced students.
